In 2010, a decision was made to modernize the conventional washroom area of the plant, one of our three wash areas, with a distinct focus on energy efficiency.

The newest equipment at our Zanesville Production Facility consists of a Kannegiesser 12 Module PowerTrans Wash Tunnel to produce in excess of 5,600 pounds of laundry per hour, a PowerPress Water Extractor and 7 PowerDry Dryers, along with a Lift Shuttle Conveyor and other transfer conveyors. In addition, a new 4,000 gallon stainless steel process water tank, new 200 GPM pump set and new computerized controls for our existing heat exchanger conservation system were installed.

With this new equipment, we save 20,000,000 gallons of water and 12,000 mm BTUs annually. This equates to 1.3 million pounds of CO2 emissions, the equivalent of taking 118 cars off of the road.
